Payroll Manager at New Castle Hotels & Resorts

Ana is a firm believer in the notion that the only thing that’s impossible is the thing you don’t try. And if you know her, you know she puts this theory to the test in all she takes on.

With a Certificate in Business Office Technology from Norwalk Community College, and an anticipated completion of her Hotel and Restaurant Management degree later this year, Ana joined New Castle in 2009 at the front desk of the Hilton Garden Inn in Norwalk.

Over the next few years, she also held sales, administrative and general positions before transferring to the Westport Inn as a Sales Coordinator in 2016, and was later promoted to HR Administrator. In June 2018 she joined the corporate team as Human Resources and Payroll Administrator and led the WFN implementation now focusing on Benefits Administration.

Ana brings an incredible amount of determination and passion to her current role with New Castle as Human Resource Generalist. She doesn’t hesitate to embrace new challenges and is always willing to step up to lend a hand when a hand is needed. This extends to her volunteer work with the City of Norwalk, where she provides support to the Keeping Norwalk Beautiful initiative.

There are not many things that Ana won’t try (and accomplish), including volleyball, art, and baking, and for the record, she has found none of these things impossible. When she does find time to relax, her go-to destination is returning home to Mexico, where you’ll likely find her enjoying time with family or on the beach reading great literature such as The Great Gatsby and The Notebook (the book is fine, sure, but who can resist that movie? A classic.).
