After close to 20 years in hospitality management and operations, Josh Morey is known to be exceptionally dependable – we’d even argue that he’s one of the most accomplished and highly respected in the game. Ask him to pick a movie however, and that dependability is thrown out the window and replaced with a proverbial cinematic rollercoaster ride that takes you from Shawshank Redemption to National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation to Aliens, finally hitting the brakes and pulling up to Young Frankenstein.

It’s a mantra he not only adheres to personally, but one he looks to instill in his work team as well; believing that empowerment, engagement, growth and development of the team is the true benchmark and responsibility of a hospitality leader.

That commitment to giving back may explain why one of his preferred books is Bob Berg’s The Go-Giver; and, no surprise, he believes greatly in volunteer work in his community.
