Nick Efird, PE, CPD, is a Senior Associate and Team Leader at Newcomb & Boyd, LLP, where experience includes roles as an Associate and Senior Engineer, as well as Mechanical Engineer since July 2018. Prior to this, Nick gained valuable experience as a Co-Op from May 2016 to August 2017, focusing on the creation of construction documents and the design of various utility systems. An internship at Custom Sign Factory from May 2014 to August 2015 involved acquiring sign permits and developing sign location plans. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Georgia, obtained in 2018, and previously studied Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Southern University from 2013 to 2015, following graduation from Duluth High School in 2013.
