Bill Vassilakis

Bill Vassilakis has extensive work experience in the field of RF engineering and wireless infrastructure. Bill is currently the Vice President of Engineering at NewEdge Signal Solutions, where they lead the development of innovative hardware for the wireless infrastructure market. Prior to this, they founded Clear Crest Wireless Inc., providing technology and business development expertise to leading technology companies. Bill also served as the Chief Technical Officer at Empower RF Systems, where they developed amplifier systems and sub-systems and established technology partnerships. Before that, they held the position of Sr. VP, Global R&D at Powerwave Technologies Inc., where they led a multinational team in developing wireless subsystem technologies. Prior to that, they worked at M/A-COM Technology Solutions as a Sr. Principal Engineer, and at NovAtel Communications and Nortel as an RF Engineer. Throughout their career, Bill has demonstrated expertise in amplifier design, linearization technologies, antenna analysis, and patent creation and analysis, contributing to the growth of the companies they worked for.

Bill Vassilakis earned their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from McGill University, where they attended from 1980 to 1984.
