Ron Harkins

Ron Harkins is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering information technology with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering Information Technology at Newell Brands since April 2007, Ron is responsible for strategic IT roadmaps, technical resource management, budget oversight, and project execution. Prior to this role, Ron was the R&D Technology Leader at Graco Children's Products, where best practices for MCAD and PDM engineering tools were defined. Earlier career roles include positions as an Application Engineer at Enser Corporation, Mold Designer at Excel Tool & Mold, and Application Engineer at Micro Control. Ron began his career as a Senior CNC Programmer at Jenn Manufacturing. Educationally, Ron holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Manufacturing Management and Manufacturing Engineering from PennWest California, obtained between 1977 and 1982.
