Director School Program at NEWESD 101

Adam Smith has a diverse work experience. Adam started their career in 1998 as a Teacher and CTE Director at Cheney School District. In 2006, they became a College Instructor at Eastern Washington University, where they worked until 2017. In 2019, Adam joined NEWESD 101 as the Director of School Program.

Adam Smith obtained a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Eastern Washington University, which they pursued from 1995 to 2003. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1995, they completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies from Columbia Basin College. Adam obtained their High School Diploma from Kamiakin High School, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, Adam Smith has attained several certifications throughout their career, including being a 20 Year Cisco Academy Instructor certified by Cisco in May 2020, a National Board Certified Teacher (Renewed/MOC) certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in November 2010, and being an attendee at the WASTC 2022 ICT Winter Conference certified by the Western Academy Support and Training Center in January 2022.
