Carrie Abbott has a long and varied work experience. In 2002, they began their career as a Marketing Specialist at Central Restaurant Products. In 2008, they became a Partner at Full Plate Catering. In 2011, they founded Newfangled Confections and served as CEO & Founder until 2020. During that time, they also became a Juried Food Artisan Member at INDIANA ARTISAN INC in 2012 and a Featured Member at Visit Indy in 2013. In 2020, they became the Owner of The Best Chocolate In Town.
Carrie Abbott attended Ball State University from 1992 to 1996 and earned a BS in Geography with a focus on Travel and Tourism. Carrie then attended Ivy Tech Community College from 2003 to 2010 and earned an AAS in Hospitality: Pastry & Baking Arts.
