Kimberly Layton has extensive experience in software development and project management. Kimberly started their career at Oz Communications in 2005, where they worked as a Software Developer. Kimberly'sresponsibilities included integrating new core server solutions for Email products and providing support to operations.

In 2008, Kimberly joined Nokia as a Software Project Lead and Mobile Developer. Kimberly managed a team of developers and testers and was in charge of delivering Email, IM, and Visual Voicemail mobile applications for North American carriers. Kimberly also maintained relationships with internal Nokia device teams.

Kimberly then moved on to Synchronica (formerly Nokia) in 2011, where they served as a Scrum Master and Project Lead. Kimberly collaborated closely with various teams to develop an Android Messaging demo application and ensured its quality and timely delivery.

In 2012, Kimberly joined Myriad Group (Synchronica) as a Quality Assurance Manager. Kimberly'smain responsibilities included solution integration, quality assurance for mobile applications, managing timelines and priorities of QA projects, and leading a team of eight quality assurance specialists.

Most recently, Kimberly worked at Newforma as a Lead Product Owner & Manager. Kimberly owned the feature backlog for the Cloud & Mobile Products and coordinated work across multiple teams. Kimberly'srole involved distributing features across various tools, legacy software, the AWS Cloud platform, and Mobile & Web Apps. Additionally, they served as a Scrum Master for multiple scrum teams, ensuring the backlog was well ordered and refined.

Throughout their career, Kimberly has demonstrated strong leadership skills, excellent coordination abilities, and a deep understanding of agile methodologies.

Kimberly Layton obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer from McGill University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In addition, they obtained a certification in PSM I from Scrum.org in June 2015.
