Electrical Engineering Technologist at Newfoundland Power

Lloyd Fudge has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Lloyd started their career as an Industrial Electrician at Bayview Electric in 2005, where they focused on electrical construction and installation. In 2008, they joined Stantec as an Electrical Technician-Draftsperson, specializing in AutoCAD electrical design for new buildings and renovations. During their time at Stantec, Lloyd was responsible for calculations, shop drawings, field verifications, and approvals. Since 2011, Lloyd has been working at Newfoundland Power as an Electrical Engineering Technologist, where they are actively involved in distribution pole line design, customer relations, and finance. Lloyd extensively utilizes AutoCAD and GIS technologies in their role at Newfoundland Power.

Lloyd Fudge obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in B. Tech from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where they studied from 1999 to 2020. In addition, they earned a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from the College of the North Atlantic between 2001 and 2005. Lloyd Fudge also acquired a certification as a Certified Technologist from AETTNL in February 2008.
