P. Eng. Byron Chubbs

Byron Chubbs, P. Eng. has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy industry. Byron started their career in 2006 with Newfoundland Power as an Electrical Engineer, and later transitioned into roles such as Distribution Planning Engineer, Team Lead for Distribution Planning & Metering, Superintendent for Regional Engineering, Director for Operations Technology, and Director for the Eastern Region. In 2016, they joined Maritime Electric Company, Ltd as the Vice President for Customer Service. Byron returned to Newfoundland Power in 2018 as the Vice President for Energy Supply & Planning, and later became the Vice President for Engineering & Energy Supply in 2020. Overall, Byron Chubbs brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in various areas of the energy sector.
