Rachel Hodgson

Rachel Hodgson has a diverse work experience in various marketing and communications roles. Rachel is currently working as the Chief Marketing Officer at Newhouse since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Sr. Manager, Service Line Marketing and Philanthropy Marketing Manager at Children's Mercy Kansas City from 2018 to 2022. Rachel also served as the UMKC Bloch Marketing Strategist at UMKC Henry W. Bloch School of Management from 2017 to 2018. Before that, they were the Chief Communications Officer at Great Plains SPCA from 2012 to 2017. Rachel also worked at Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas as the Manager of Integrated Marketing from 2009 to 2012. Rachel'searly career includes roles as Web Content Manager and Account Coordinator at Smith Marketing & Public Relations in 2009, and as an Account Services Intern at Meers Advertising in 2007.

Rachel Hodgson obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communications from The University of Kansas, where they attended from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, they briefly attended the University of Newcastle to pursue studies in Journalism.
