Alfonso Sumano

Alfonso Sumano is a seasoned executive in the tourism and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as the Tourism Vice-President at Newlink® since April 2023 and as President of Zoi Media Group since January 2020, Alfonso oversees global business development and sales efforts at ZOI Media, a high-tech company focused on the hospitality industry. Previously, Alfonso held significant roles including Director for North America at the World Travel & Tourism Council, International Offices Managing Director at the Mexico Tourism Board, and Commercial Strategy Vice President at Corporate Travel Services. A founding member of the Mexico Tourism Board, Alfonso played a critical role in establishing its presence and promoting Mexico as a premier travel destination over nearly two decades. Alfonso's expertise extends to leadership positions at Richard Sandoval Hospitality and VisitMexico, as well as a Deputy Director role at the Mexico Tourism Board. Alfonso holds a degree in Corporate Law with a focus on International Relations and Affairs from Universidad Anáhuac.
