Michel Mouchiroud

Michel Mouchiroud currently serves as the Director of Public & Corporate Affairs at Newlogic and the Director of Partnerships & Engagement at OpenSPP, both roles beginning in November 2023. Prior to these positions, Michel held various roles at the European Commission from August 2009 to October 2023, including Deputy Head of the FPI Regional Team for Asia & Pacific and Attaché for Civil Society, Culture & Media Affairs. Earlier experience includes serving as the External Relations Coordinator at UNHCR from January 2007 to December 2008, and as a Field Protection Officer addressing conflict and refugee issues in Colombia. Michel's educational background features a Master's in Political Science and International Relations from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, a Bachelor's degree in European Social and Political Science and Spanish from UCL, and an International Baccalaureate from Sevenoaks School.
