James Childress

James Childress currently serves as Senior Managing Director for Pacific Northwest Capital Markets at Newmark, a position held since August 2017. With a focus on institutional investment sales in the office and industrial sectors within the Portland and Seattle markets, James has held various roles at Newmark including Managing Director and Director. Prior experience includes directorship at HFF specializing in office investment sales and a tenure as Senior Real Estate Analyst at the same firm. James began a career in finance as a Business Financial Analyst at StanCorp Mortgage Investors LLC, where an emphasis was placed on cash flow analysis, financial reconciliation, and model development. James holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accountancy and Finance from Oregon State University, completed in 2008.
