Joshua Davis

Joshua Davis serves as the General Counsel of Newmark Group, Inc. Prior to the Company, he spent over 13 years in the corporate group at the law firm Kramer Levin Naftalis Frankel LLP, where he started his career. At Kramer Levin, he advised and represented private equity funds, fund sponsors and their portfolio companies in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity and debt financings and other investment transactions, as well as advising on a variety of general corporate matters. Mr. Davis has also spent over ten years in-house, serving both as Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer within the investment office at Global Atlantic Financial Group, where he oversaw all legal matters for one of the investment platforms, and as Associate General Counsel, Asset Management for the Perella Weinberg Partners Asset Based Value Funds, where he oversaw all legal matters for the investment platform across a wide variety of asset classes.

Mr. Davis earned his law degree from New York Law School, from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He graduated Syracuse University, from which he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
