Bob Mickey

Bob Mickey is an accomplished professional in project management with extensive experience in the mining and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Vice President and Global Lead for Project Management at Newmont Mining Corporation since 2011, Bob Mickey is responsible for guiding teams, overseeing capital projects, and developing strategies for operational improvements while fostering relationships with key contractors. Prior to this role, Bob Mickey spent 30 years at Fluor Corporation, progressing through various leadership positions, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President of the Power Group and CEO of Duke Fluor Daniel Company, overseeing 3,000 engineering professionals globally. Bob Mickey holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
