Eric Fournier

Eric Fournier is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the Borden Mine Technical Services Superintendent at Newmont Corporation since July 2019. In this role, Eric leads a team responsible for survey, ventilation, scheduling, short-term planning, mid-term planning, and geology. Prior to this position, Eric held various roles including Senior Planner at Nyrstar from July 2013 to June 2019, Coordinator of Technical Operations at QMX Gold Corp. from April 2010 to June 2013, and Senior Mining Technologist at Xstrata Copper from 2004 to 2010. Eric began a career in the mining industry as a Mining Technologist at Noranda from 2003 to 2004. Eric holds a degree in Mining Technology from Cegep de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue, completed between 1997 and 2000.
