Frank F. Roberto

Frank F. Roberto is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in metallurgy and biological sciences. Currently serving as the Director of Processing at Newmont Corporation since May 2012, Frank leads technology development and innovation in sustainable mining processes. Previous roles at Newmont include Senior Manager and Chief Metallurgist, focusing on bioleach, biooxidation, and water treatment strategies. Frank's career also includes a noteworthy tenure at Battelle Energy Alliance, contributing to diverse projects, and nearly 25 years at the Idaho National Laboratory, where Frank progressed from senior scientist to Laboratory Fellow. Frank completed postgraduate studies in molecular plant pathology at the University of California, Davis, following a BS in Biochemistry and a PhD in Biochemistry with a focus on plant physiology from the University of California, Riverside.
