Ignacio Agustín Poggi

Ignacio Agustín Poggi serves as the Legal & Regulatory Affairs Director for Newmont Corporation in Argentina since February 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing legal, land, and regulatory compliance, along with leading cultural studies to enhance efficiency. Previously, Ignacio held the position of Gerente de Legales at Goldcorp from January 2012 to February 2019, managing legal counsel for ethics and compliance, and successfully leading the largest annual syndicate loan in the country. Ignacio's experience also includes roles as Asesor Legal Senior at Pan American Silver Corp., legal teaching at the Asociación de Estudios en legislación Extranjera, and positions at Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal, and Escribania Medina. Ignacio's educational background includes a PGN in Management from Universidad de 'San Andrés', a Master's in Law and Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wolverhampton.
