Janice Wallgren

Janice Wallgren, P.Eng. has extensive experience in mine engineering and management, currently serving as the Mine Superintendent at Newmont Corporation since May 2018, where Janice has also held the roles of Mine Technical Services Superintendent and Senior Mine Engineer. Previously, Janice Wallgren worked at Goldcorp from May 2008 to April 2018 as a Senior Engineer in Short Term Planning, overseeing short term planners at the Balmer Complex and providing production planning support. Earlier in their career, Janice Wallgren gained valuable experience as a Co-op Engineering Student at Goldcorp Inc., contributing to both LH drilling layouts and short term development plans during 2006-2007. Janice Wallgren holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mineral Engineering from the University of Toronto, obtained in 2008.
