Kory Alca

Kory Alca currently serves as the Senior Director of Investments and Value Management at Newmont Mining Corporation, a position held since June 2010, following a series of leadership roles including Director of Operations and Projects Planning and Gerente de Análisis Estratégico y Proyectos de Optimización. In these capacities, Kory Alca has been instrumental in leading technical teams to develop strategic action plans that enhance both regional project viability and the company's financial stability. Previous positions at Newmont include Senior Mine Engineer on the Conga project, Long Term Planning Engineer, and several planning engineer roles, contributing extensive expertise in mine engineering and strategic planning across various projects in South America. Kory Alca holds a Master in Business Administration from CENTRUM (PUCP) and a degree in Mine Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, complemented by executive education at Wharton.
