Matthew Kofi Gyan

Matthew Kofi Gyan is an experienced professional in the field of mechanical engineering and process maintenance, currently serving as the Process Maintenance Superintendent at Newmont Ghana Gold Limited since January 2022. With a notable career at Newmont Mining Corporation since November 2011, Matthew has held the position of Process Maintenance General Foreman - Mechanical, directing maintenance activities and facilitating training programs for the workforce. Previously, as a Senior Mechanical Foreman at Newmont Ghana Gold Limited, Matthew managed mechanical supervisors and technicians, ensuring production goals were met. Matthew's early career includes a role as Sectional Engineer at Abosso Goldfields Limited, where supervision and training of the mechanical department were key responsibilities. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Engineering and Management from Coventry University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
