Gary Kilberg

Gary Kilberg is a Senior Advisor and former Chief Executive Officer and Member of NewOak Capital’s General Partner. He was responsible for the overall business management of NewOak, its strategic initiatives, and the implementation, operations, and execution of its various businesses.

Mr. Kilberg has more than 30 years of experience in investment management, trading, risk management, capital raising, and business building.

Prior to NewOak, Mr. Kilberg was a Partner at KLS Diversified Asset Management LP, a Member of its Investment Committee, and the Head of Client Relations, responsible since launch for all aspects of firm capital raising. Before this he was the Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Centerlight Capital Management LLC and the Co-founder, co-Managing Partner, and Chief Executive Officer of Archeus Capital Management LLC, a multi-billion dollar investment advisory business in New York and London. As the sole capital acquirer for Archeus’ diverse multi-strategy relative value funds, his responsibilities also encompassed all non-portfolio aspects of the business including fund creation, investor relations, legal and regulatory affairs, and compliance. Prior to this Mr. Kilberg served as a Limited Partner and Managing Director at Cantor Fitzgerald / eSpeed, a Managing Director and Global Head of Fixed Income and Derivative Emerging Markets Trading & Sales at ABN Amro Bank NV, and a Managing Director and Global co-Head of Emerging Markets at UBS. Earlier in his career he traded mortgage-backed securities at Salomon Brothers and Citibank, and mortgage and emerging markets debt instruments at JP Morgan.
