James has been a board member since 2018 and is vice chair of the audit & risk committee. James specifically offers the board and executive guidance on Corporate Finance and Treasury matters, bringing his experience from the English Housing sector and wider experience gained outside of the sector.
James firmly believes that having a strong financial foundation and clear financial rules are key to ensuring the long-term sustainability of NCH to allow it to fulfil its existing and future ambitions. James has family and friends who live in Newport and
understands some of the problems the city faces. James’ role in an English housing association and his network of contacts built up within the sector provides opportunity to use learning from his role to support NCH.
