John Shields

John Shields has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. John started their career at Putnam Investments as a Golden Scales Representative, providing top-tier customer service. John then moved on to John Hancock, where they served as Director of US Life Operations, focusing on improving customer service metrics and financial efficiency. John later joined Texas Instruments as a Financial Analyst before transitioning to Clark Consulting, where they held various roles, including Manager and Vice President of Design & Analysis. Currently, John Shields is employed at The Newport Group as Senior Vice President of Financial Services.

John Shields completed their high school education at Walpole High School, earning a Diploma in 1993. John then pursued a degree in Finance at Bentley University from 1993 to 1997. Later, they went on to complete an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business from 2007 to 2009.
