Leah Ersoylu, PhD, is the President of Ersoylu Consulting, a position held since January 2007. Currently serving as an Elected School Board Trustee for the Newport Mesa Unified School District since December 2020, Leah represents the NMUSD Area 1 community. Leah has significant academic experience as an Adjunct Instructor at UC Irvine from February 2006 to December 2018 and at California State University, Long Beach from January 2004 to January 2008, teaching courses in public policy, civic engagement, and nonprofit management. Prior professional roles include Director of Policy & Community Engagement at Latino Health Access, Public Health Consultant at Community Action Partnership of Orange County, Youth Engagement Specialist at Boys and Girls Club of Santa Ana, and Teen Program Manager at Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua. Leah earned a PhD in Political Science with a focus on Public Policy from UC Irvine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of New Hampshire.
