Aryka Brown

Aryka Brown, PhD, holds extensive experience in educational psychology and vocational assessment. Currently serving as the Education/Testing Coordinator at Newport News Behavioral Health Center since August 2006, Aryka Brown administers psycho-educational and vocational assessments for residents. Previously, Aryka Brown worked as an Adjunct Instructor at ITT Technical Institute from June 2005 to December 2012, teaching various psychology courses and providing academic advising. Additionally, Aryka Brown was a Career Facilitator at Opportunity Inc. for a brief period in 2006, supporting unemployed individuals and advising students on academic options. Aryka Brown's educational credentials include a PhD in Educational Psychology from Capella University, a Master’s Degree in Applied Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Christopher Newport University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
