Michael Gordon M.D.

Michael Gordon, MD, is an experienced orthopedic surgeon with over three decades in the field. Currently affiliated with Hoag Orthopedic Institute, Newport Orthopedic Institute, and the Orthopedic Surgery Center of Orange County, Dr. Gordon has been practicing since 1998. Additionally, Dr. Gordon has held several significant appointments at Hoag Hospital, including founding member of the Spine Committee and Chairman of the Orthopedic Department. Dr. Gordon completed a spinal fellowship at the University of Southern California and underwent orthopedic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, following a general surgery internship at Mt Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Gordon holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Cornell Medical College and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Columbia University.
