Russell Petrie M.D.

Russell Petrie, MD, serves as the Team Physician for the Los Angeles Chargers since August 2017 and has been an Orthopedic Surgeon at Newport Orthopedic Institute. Russell holds the position of Chairperson at Okeanos Group LLC since January 2019, focusing on developing eco-friendly degradable packaging solutions. At Hoag Orthopedic Institute, Russell has been involved as a Teaching Faculty member for the Sports Medicine Fellowship and as an Orthopedic Surgeon since 1999. Additionally, Russell has served as Team Physician for Vanguard University of Southern California since August 2003 and was the Surgical Director and Governing Board Chairperson at Orthopedic Surgery Center of Orange County from January 2009 to January 2018.
