Arnold Valk

Arnold Valk has extensive experience in operations and business processes within the transport and logistics sector. Currently serving as Director of Operations and Business Processes at NewPort Tank Containers since September 2011, Arnold is instrumental in achieving operational excellence through the continuous improvement of global operational processes and the implementation of KPI systems. Prior to this role, Arnold worked at Hoyer Global Transport from 2004 to August 2011, holding various positions including General Manager Europe, Global Operations Manager, and Sales Manager for food-grade tank containers across EMEA. Arnold's career began at VOTG Tanktainer Gmbh, where responsibilities included daily operations and planning for European customers, and also included a formative stage at BV Scheepvaart & Handelmij Marico. Arnold holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Logistics and Economics from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, earned between 2001 and 2005.
