Kim McKinney

Kim McKinney has a broad work experience spanning multiple industries. Kim started their career in 1983 at Jefferson Pilot Financial as a Manager in Group Regulated Business and Small Group Underwriting. Kim then worked at Kaiser Permanente as the Director of Account Services from 1997 to 1999. After that, they joined McKinney Insurance and Benefit Consulting as a Consultant from 2000 to 2006.

In 2006, Kim joined Aon as an Assistant Vice President and worked there until 2019. During their time at Aon, they held various roles and responsibilities, demonstrating their expertise in the field.

Kim further expanded their horizons by working at Benefit Communications Inc. as a Benefits Enrollment Counselor from 2020 until 2022. Additionally, they joined News Break in 2020 as a Content Creator.

Currently, Kim works at Medium as a Writer, a position they started in October 2019, and has continued in undefined duration. This diverse work experience showcases Kim McKinney's adaptability and commitment to professional growth.

Additionally, they also completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Broadcast Journalism at the UNC School of Media and Journalism.
