Qinghang Hong

Qinghang Hong has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Qinghang started their career as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Computer Science at UCSB in 2019. Later that year, they worked as a Frontend Web Developer at Ylz Information Technology Co., Ltd for a brief period. In 2020, Qinghang joined UC Santa Barbara as a Research Assistant, where they focused on deep learning in healthcare-related projects and had numerous papers accepted and received the Best Paper Award in a workshop. Qinghang then worked as a Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer at Xilinx in 2021. In 2022, Qinghang served as a Research Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at NewsBreak, starting in 2023.

Qinghang Hong completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara from 2017 to 2021. Afterward, from 2021 to 2023, Qinghang pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at Columbia University.
