Rohan Smith

Rohan Smith is an experienced media professional with a strong background in journalism and editorial roles. Currently serving as the Acting Sections Editor at news.com.au since March 2017, Rohan oversees finance, travel, lifestyle, technology, and entertainment verticals at Australia’s leading news website. Prior experience includes roles as Acting Deputy Editor and various journalistic positions at News Corp from February 2012 to January 2015, along with a significant tenure as News Editor at National Radio News from July 2009 to September 2011. In the role of News Editor, Rohan managed extensive election coverage and developed staff training programs while producing a high volume of news bulletins. Rohan holds a Bachelor of Communications/Journalism from Monash University and completed VCE at Emerald Secondary College.
