Adam Gubbay

Adam Gubbay has a diverse work experience in financial controls, compliance, and audit. Adam currently serves as the Head of Financial Controls & Compliance at News Corp Australia, where they lead the SOX compliance program and ensures the implementation of internal controls for accurate financial reporting. Prior to this, they worked at KPMG Australia as a Senior Manager in Audit, Assurance & Risk Consulting, where they gained experience across various industries. Adam also worked at KPMG Canada as a Senior Manager and Manager in audit and professional services for publicly listed and privately held companies. Adam started their career at KPMG Australia as an Assistant Manager in Financial Services Audit. Additionally, they have experience in the hospitality and commercial mortgage industries.

Adam Gubbay completed their education as follows:

- From 1993 to 2003, they attended Knox Grammar School and obtained their High School Certificate (HSC).

- In 2004, they enrolled at Australian Catholic University where they pursued a Bachelor of Business with a Finance Major, completing their degree in 2008.

- In 2010, they briefly attended Macquarie University and earned a Masters of Accounting.

- From 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (GradDipCA) in Accounting at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

- Lastly, from 2019 to 2021, they completed their Chartered Professional Accountant qualification at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
