Heath Kelly

Heath Kelly is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in sports journalism, currently serving as the Deputy National Sports Editor at News Corp Australia since July 2006. Kelly has held multiple significant roles within the organization, including Head of Projects for the Saturday and Sunday Telegraph, where digital strategies were developed to boost subscriptions, and managing the Olympic Games coverage for the Tokyo 2021 and Paris 2024 events. As Head of Digital Sport, responsibilities included overseeing News Corp's digital sports strategy across its national mastheads. Prior experience includes managing the NRL digital team and roles at Alpha Magazine, where readership expanded significantly under Kelly's editorial leadership. Kelly's career in journalism began in 1995, with contributions across various platforms, including Sportal and The Courier-Mail. An alumnus of The University of Queensland, Kelly has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
