James McMahon has over 18 years of work experience, starting in 2002 as a Customer Care Consultant at Australia Post. James then worked at Optus from 2003 to 2013, with roles including Premium Support Executive and Performance Test Specialist. In 2013, James joined News Corp Australia and held various positions, including Test Engineer/Android Developer and Lead Software Engineer (Android), before becoming the Head of Mobile Engineering in 2017.

James McMahon completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Software Technology from Macquarie University in the years 2009 to 2013.
