Zaheer Abbas

Zaheer Abbas, ACA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Group Finance Director and Group Treasury Controller at News Group International since January 2019. Previously, Zaheer held the positions of Finance Business Partner and Financial Controller at SOCIALEYEZ, where responsibilities included financial accounting and reporting compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards. Zaheer has also worked as a Senior Associate at KPMG, both in the Lower Gulf and globally, focusing on audit engagements, statutory audits, compliance assessments, and financial statement preparation. Zaheer holds a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Punjab.
