Adriaan Basson

Adriaan Basson is an experienced journalist and editor, currently serving as Editor In Chief at News24 South Africa since April 2016 and as Editor at Media24 (Pty) Ltd since October 2013. Basson has also been an author of current affairs books with Jonathan Ball Publishers since September 2010. Prior roles include Assistant Editor at City Press from October 2010 to September 2013 and Investigative Journalist at Mail & Guardian from July 2007 to September 2010. Adriaan Basson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Stellenbosch University and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in African Politics from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika.
