Delicia Jones

Delicia Jones is the Chief of Staff at NewSchools Venture Fund. In this role, she partners closely with the executive team as well as investment area and shared services team leaders to support the overall effectiveness and strategic direction of the organization.

Previously, Delicia served as the Chief Strategy and Investments Officer at Good Reason Houston. During her time there, Delicia led strategic planning, learning and evaluation, investments management, district partnerships, finance, and operations. Prior to this, she was a Senior Manager at the Monitor Institute by Deloitte where she worked closely with nonprofit and foundation leaders on issues related to strategy, growth, and operational effectiveness. She also worked as an Education Pioneers Graduate Fellow, supporting YES Prep Public Schools develop a long-term talent strategy for identifying and cultivating future school leaders.
