Mahati Gollamudi

Mahati Gollamudi has a diverse work experience across various industries. Mahati began their career as a Beta Test Contractor at Zagat in 2012. Mahati then worked as a User Experience & Engagement professional at Insider London. Mahati also interned as a Curatorial Intern at The British Museum before moving on to become a Development Manager at Tudor Place Historic House and Garden. Mahati later joined the Smithsonian Institution as a Curatorial Associate and Project Manager. In 2015, they started their own business as the Owner and Principal of Mahati Arts LLC. Mahati then transitioned into the technology field, working as a Web Developer at Navigator Labs and later joining Newsela. At Newsela, they held positions such as Web Developer, Site Reliability & Platform Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering Operations & Platform, and currently serves as the Director of Software Engineering.

Mahati Gollamudi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology & Art History, as well as Mathematics, from the University of Virginia in 2011. In 2012, they obtained their Master of Arts degree in Archaeology & Art History from SOAS University of London. In addition, they hold a certification in Digital Curatorial Management from Harvard Extension School.
