Andy Kaltenbrunner

Andy Kaltenbrunner is managing director of the research company Medienhaus Wien and oversees projects at the Institute for Comparative Media and Communication Research of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Kaltenbrunner has been teaching and researching media policy, journalism, and media innovation at several European universities for more than two decades. Until 2000, he worked as one of Austria’s leading political journalists and was an early practitioner of online media in Austria, including with Profil and Trend Magazine. He holds a doctorate in political science.
