Edward Greenspon

Edward Greenspon is Senior Advisor for English-speaking Canada and a member of NewsGuard’s global advisory board. He currently serves as President & CEO of the Public Policy Forum and is the author of its seminal study on the future of journalism, The Shattered Mirror: News, Democracy, and Trust in the Digital Age. Greenspon spent 20+ years as a journalist with The Globe and Mail, serving as a foreign correspondent, Ottawa Bureau Chief, founding editor of GlobeandMail.com, and Editor-in-Chief. He has also worked at Bloomberg News, the Toronto Star, and newspapers in Western Canada. Greenspon has a Master’s degree in politics and government from the London School of Economics and is the author of two books on Canadian political life.
