Simon Livshitz has worked in the field of physics and electro-optical engineering since 2016. Simon started at AdOM Advanced Optical Technologies Ltd in 2016 as an R&D engineer, developing a device that measures noninvasive eye layers with nano accuracy. This device can diagnose Dry Eye Syndrome, the most common eye disease, and is based on optics, spectroscopy, and Fresnel equations. In 2018, they moved to Newsight Imaging as a Physicist and Electro-Optical engineer.
Simon Livshitz attended the Navy Officer School in Acre, Israel from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Practical Engineer degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Afterwards, they attended the Lev Academic Center from 2013 to 2017, studying Electro-Optics and Applied Physics.
