Jerry Cox has extensive experience in the arts and woodworking industry, currently serving as Manager at NewSpace since August 1996, where responsibilities include acting as the creative and technical liaison between clients and internal teams. Prior to this, Jerry was President of the St. Louis Artists' Guild from 2011 to 2018, contributing to the organization's legacy as the oldest continuously operating art organization west of the Mississippi. Jerry also owned The Wood Doctor from May 1986 to July 1996, specializing in furniture making and antique restoration, and worked as a woodworker at Setlich Manufacturing in 1984-1985, creating walnut picture frames. Earlier experience includes cabinetmaking and antique restoration at Floyd Cook Antique Restorers from July 1980 to August 1984, and a strong educational background with BFA degrees in Fine Arts from Westminster College (MO) and William Woods University, both attained from 1974 to 1978.
