Erin Alberda

Erin Alberda currently serves as the Interim Director of Patient and Medication Safety at Seattle Children's, where leadership involves guiding a team toward delivering exceptional quality to patients. With a robust background in quality improvement, Erin has also held roles such as Improvement Advisor and Clinical Consultant, focusing on enhancing patient safety in the NICU and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to reduce preventable harm. Erin's experience extends to the equestrian field as a disabled athlete representing the United States Para Equestrian Team in international competitions. Additionally, Erin has a history in acupuncture practice and program management within non-profit organizations, along with a strong educational foundation in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University, and a background in theoretical and mathematical physics from Sweet Briar College.
