Stephan Schambach

Stephan Schambach is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the technology and eCommerce sectors. Currently serving as Chairman and Investor at Orca since January 2022, Stephan is dedicated to enhancing navigation solutions for modern boaters. Previously, as Founder and Chairman of NewStore, Inc., since January 2015, Stephan has focused on providing omnichannel solutions for retail brands. Notably, Stephan was the Founder, CEO, and Chairman of Demandware, a pioneer in cloud-based eCommerce services, and served as Chairman and Principal Investor at Torqeedo, a leader in electric marine propulsion. Early in their career, Stephan founded Intershop Communications and NetConsult, the latter being the first successful software company in former East Germany. Educationally, Stephan completed the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School from 2012 to 2014.
