Haroon Anwar

Haroon Anwar is a Senior Account Executive for EMEA & APAC at NewsWhip since April 2023, following a comprehensive career at Meltwater from July 2018 to April 2023, where roles included EMEA Account Executive and Senior Growth Executive. Prior experience includes teaching English at Warren School, working as a Digital Marketing Executive at Livity, and contributing as a Poet and Creative Practitioner for The Poetry Society, where accolades include winning the Mayor of London's Rise Slam competition and performing at prestigious venues. Haroon's background also includes mentoring in debate with Debate Mate and a marketing role at Sony, where involvement in an experiential campaign for PlayStation Move was documented by VICE. Haroon holds a Bachelor of Arts in English & Creative Writing from Royal Holloway, University of London.
