Neil Concannon

Neil Concannon has a wealth of experience in the field of people operations and talent management. Neil began their career in 2008 as an EMEA Sales Team Leader for PPG Recruitment, part of the Nuparc Group. In 2009, they became the Owner of Jam Cafe/Bar. In 2012, they joined Approach People Recruitment as a Senior SaaS TA Lead for EMEA. In 2015, they were the Talent Acquisition Lead Partner for the launch of Trustpilot's Berlin office. Finally, in 2016, they joined NewsWhip as the VP of People Operations, and later became the Director of People Operations and Head of Talent for both the New York and Dublin offices. In these roles, they were responsible for helping to find, develop, motivate, and retain the team at NewsWhip, as well as building and supporting their teams, making decisions that scale and support the company as it grows, and ensuring that all staff understand how people decisions get made. Neil also specialized in assisting tech start-ups and major multi-nationals in their expansion into new territories across Europe, specifically Germany, as well as growing their existing work-forces.

Neil Concannon graduated from University College Dublin in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and English.
