Jay Harwood

Jay Harwood has over 20 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry. Jay is currently the Director of Sales - Industrial at Newterra, where they lead a team of 6 sales managers in developing business relationships and closing sales in various industrial markets. Prior to this, Jay held positions at SUEZ - Water Technologies & Solutions, where they served as the Bid Management Director and Commercial Director, focusing on strategic water projects and sustainable growth plans. Jay also has experience at GE Water & Process Technologies, where they worked as a Commercial Director and Regional Sales Manager, and at newterra ltd. as a Business Development Manager. Jay began their career at Zenon Environmental Inc. as a Product Manager and Senior Mechanical Designer. Throughout their career, Jay has demonstrated expertise in sales, bid management, commercial delivery, and developing key strategic projects.

Jay Harwood attended Conestoga College and studied Mechanical Engineering from an unknown start year until 2000. Jay then enrolled in Athabasca University, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Management degree in Business Administration and Management, with a major in General Studies. In January 2016, Jay Harwood obtained a certification as an Executive Committee Member of the International Water Conference from the Engineers' Society of Western PA.
