Scott Freedman has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as Head of High Yield and Portfolio Manager/Credit Analyst for Global High Yield, Investment Grade, and Sustainable Fixed Income at Newton Investment Management since August 2009. Freedman also holds roles as a school governor at Highgate Primary School and as a member of the Fixed Income Stewardship Working Group for The Investment Association. Prior experience includes a position as a Credit Analyst focusing on High Yield at Standard Bank from July 2006 to August 2009 and an executive role at PricewaterhouseCoopers from September 2002 to July 2006. Freedman obtained a BCom in Commerce from the University of Birmingham and is a member of the ICAEW.
